Introduction

In order to integrate your systems within Backstage (for existing functionality) we offer 3 options:

• Productised integrations
• Custom integrations
• Generic integrations

Productised integrations

These are integrations that are built to be repeatable, for example Cognito for identity management. The only thing you have to do is sign up with the pre-integrated service and configure it through the Backstage configuration editor.

Custom integrations

In case of integrations for custom systems the Backstage team can write these specifically for your project. Integration costs will be associated with this.

API integrations

For some of our systems we have the ability to interface with an API written to our specification. If you have the engineering capacity to write an API on top of your existing system this means that you can write the integration yourself without the need for bespoke work from 24i.
