Ads

Within the available product types the ads type differs slightly from the rest as it does not require a user to have purchased anything or be logged in for that matter.

Applying ads

When an edition (or asset) has an ad product listed in their assigned products we will regard it as being "free to watch", so the responses will never be blocked. It does mean however that when it is the lowest form of entitlement available to the user (examples listed below) we will use the information in the ad product to serve the end-user ads, either though SSAI or CSAI.

Supported ad vendors

The currently supported ad vendors are:

  • Springserve
note

Google ad manager is also supported, but only through Google DAI

Examples
